May Day Celebrations at Ley Hill Park and Village Green

An exciting day planned for the Ley Hill estate community on Bank Holiday Monday, May 4th. All are invited celebrate the opeining of the new Park and Village Green.

Councillor Bruce Lines, who has been a leading force behind the Ley Hill development, will officially open the event. Events open at 10.00am and will close at 3.00pm and the free activities will include:

Childrens' entertainers (face painting, balloons)/Arts on the move/RNLI/Fire brigade/Hopwood ladies football team soccer school and demonstration/Graham Jones wood carving/Table Top sale/Bouncy castle.

There will be refreshments available and these will include the Park View Cafe serving hot and cold drinks/BBQ/Ice creams/Chocolate fountain and a Raffle with great prizes including a digital camera.
